DiscVision presents connectTV technology at CeBIT 2009

Introduction

DiscVision and the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences present the results of their close collaboration at CeBIT 2009 (March 3–8). Key highlights include the connectTV technology, which enables transparent access to home media and smart home systems.

connectTV Technology

The connectTV technology was developed in close collaboration with the research group of Prof. Dr. Morisse from the Computer Science department of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. It enables:

  • Seamless access to home media: Users can access media content from their home while on the go.

  • Remote control of smart home systems: Systems such as lighting or heating can be controlled worldwide.

  • Enhanced home connectivity: Media and information can be easily shared with other users.
