DiscVision is an official Alexa Voice Service Solution Provider
Language Services in Focus
Language services are attracting significant attention worldwide. According to Juniper Research 2018, by 2022 approximately 55% of all US households will be equipped with voice assistants – whether through speakers, digital receivers, connected TVs, cars, or wearables. The total number of installed devices is expected to exceed 175 million at that time. While today most voice assistants are integrated into speakers, there is a clear trend: This technology is increasingly being applied in other devices.
DiscVision as a Pioneer
DiscVision has taken a leading role in this trend by integrating the Alexa Voice Service (AVS) into various devices. The combination of Amazon AVS and push-to-talk or hands-free voice control enables easy operation of devices by voice while simultaneously allowing access to all Amazon Alexa services such as Amazon Music, Kindle eBooks, TuneIn Music, and over 50,000 Alexa Skills.
Official Alexa Voice Service Solution Provider
DiscVision has been officially designated as an Alexa Voice Service (AVS) Solution Provider and has developed various Amazon-certified solutions. DiscVision's solutions include visual devices such as TVs, set-top boxes, media players, and related devices. The AVS SDK voice control solution allows device manufacturers to easily integrate Alexa into their products – from TVs to smart speakers.
AVS SDK: Efficient Integration
The AVS SDK offers a complete package: a pre-compiled AVS library for the target platform as well as an easy-to-integrate client system for platforms such as Linux OS, Android OS, and web interfaces. This pre-certified AVS SDK significantly reduces the time and costs required to integrate Alexa into devices.
DiscVision at IBC 2018
DiscVision will be present at the International Broadcast Conference (IBC) in Amsterdam from September 14 to 18, 2018. Visit DiscVision in Hall 2, Stand C51, to experience various AVS integrations and skills designed for network operators and retail partners.

The device is flexibly customizable and offers an optimal entry point into a voice-controlled, modern STB platform.
