DiscVision presents voice-controlled home media solutions at ANGA COM 2017

Technologies and Solutions
Voice-Controlled Home Media Devices
DiscVision integrates the Amazon Alexa Voice Service into various home media gateways as well as into a freenet TV PVR-ready receiver system. The voice interface allows for intuitive and simple control.
User Interfaces and Content Discovery
Innovative and extremely fast user interfaces for digital receivers, based on the Luna UI from the Danish company Craftwork.
Voice-controlled content discovery solutions based on the cloud-based content discovery technologies from XroadMedia.
In-House Network Solutions
DiscVision also showcases in-home network solutions that allow streaming content from STB/HMG to IP devices like AppleTV, Chromecast, and Samsung Tizen TVs. The target device can be selected using the Playmigo system from Digisoft.tv via the user's mobile phone.
Platform Highlights
At ANGA COM 2017, a complete scenario for a conversational user interface will be presented both on high-end gateway systems and on standard zapper devices. DiscVision's solutions for set-top boxes and home media gateways are based on Linux OS or Android OSP.
